The list of bizarre requests made by Jacko for comeback tour

London, Mar 8 : King of Pop Michael Jackson has made a list of bizarre requests for his comeback gigs at the O2 Arena in July.

The `Thriller' hitmaker has asked that his dressing room be equipped with no fewer than four hair driers.

His requests also include 24 hand towels, ten clothing rails, a nailbrush, odourless air freshener and even raspberry-scented candles.

"This just doesn't sound like your regular rock gig at all," the Daily Star quoted American rock event planner Katie McCubbin, who has helped stage concerts at huge venues for megabands including the Rolling Stones and U2, as saying.

Sasha Grey shoots back at criticism of sex scenes

Grey, 20, received feedback from the Daily Nexus, a student newspaper of the University of California at Santa Barbara, which called her rough sex scenes in porn movies "disturbingly forced".

"Young Sasha''s got some issues," the New York Post quoted the paper as having added.

But the young porn actress, who also appears in Steven Soderbergh''s "The Girlfriend Experience," shot back with an answer of her own.

Dustin Hoffman eager to become jazz player

Hoffman, 71, has been quietly but feverishly studying jazz piano, and he is very serious about it.

"I promised myself that before I kick the bucket, I''d become a decent jazz player," the New York Post quoted him as telling the new issue of Flaunt.

"The guy I''m practicing with says he''ll have me playing in a year.

Hundreds of thousands register for Jackson's London concerts

Michael JacksonLondon  - Hundreds of thousands of Michael Jackson fans have registered for tickets before the start of official sales for the 10 concerts being staged by the "King of Pop" in London.

Around 350,000 people were registered two days after Jackson announced the concert series in the British capital, promoters AEG Live said on Saturday night.

On Thursday, the 50-year-old singer made an appearance before a crowd of around 20,000 people at the O2 Arena in south-east London to announce he would give 10 concerts there from July 8.

''Rang de Basanti'' to be screened at SAARC film festival

Another major attraction of the festival is the Pakistani film ''Khuda Ke Liye'', which will be also screened. The film features Indian actor Naseeruddin Shah in a cameo as a Muslim scholar clarifying the tenets of Islam during a court case.

A film from Bangladesh - AHA, Caravan from Nepal and Sri Lankan movie Nisalgira and Samanala Thatu will be featured at the festival. All the movies will be subtitled in English and Arabic.

The singer was apparently caught drunk and lurching around the Lanesborough Hotel near Hyde Park in the early hours of Wednesday.

The 50-year-old had to be held up by minders and led back to his suite, but friends refused to blame it on the booze.
