‘Furious’ Mancini wants Tevez ‘out of club’ for refusing to play on his orders

‘Furious’ Mancini wants Tevez ‘out of club’ for refusing to play on his ordersLondon, Sep 28 : Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini is furious after striker Carlos Tevez refused to play against Bayern Munich, and wants him "out of the club".

Mancini wanted to bring on substitute Tevez with 35 minutes left in an attempt to come back in the game, but the Argentinean refused to play.

"If I have my way he will be out. He''s finished with me. If we want to improve as a team Carlos can''t play with us. With me, he is finished," Mancini said.

The incident happened during the Champions League Group A match when striker Edin Dzeko was substituted for midfielder Nigel de Jong 10 minutes into the second half.

Dzeko showed his anger at the change, shaking his head at Mancini, the BBC reports.

And minutes later, when Mancini indicated to the Argentine to warm up, Tevez refused, sparking heated discussions on the bench.

"He [Tevez] refuses to go in. He refused to come on the pitch. What I said to Carlos is between me, him and the team [but] I am really disappointed because it is Carlos. I decide the changes," he said.

Mancini said a player at a top club could not "refuse to go in to help his team-mates." (ANI)
