Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is certainly not a name to be heard for the first time for any techie, but a lot was done to make the IT giant what it's today.

The name which embarks a sense of pride has a story if its own and who better than the former Chief Executive Officer of Tata Consultancy Services, Subramanium Ramadorai could tell about this.

He was visibly touched while he was reminiscing the instances while making TCS in a function organized by Penguin Books and Taj Coromandel for launching his book `The TCS Story . and Beyond'.

It's certainly not easy to put a long grilling journey of long 40-year into 300 pages, but the former CEO of Tata Consultancy Services expects the readers to read beyond the lines, as there exists the real meaning of hard work and perseverance.

"We toiled with several titles and came up with a simpler one which highlights that the journey doesn't end", said Ramadorai in the event, which was done with the support of Confederation of Indian Industry on Wednesday evening.
