Ford India launches ‘EcoSport Urban Discoveries’ campaign
The Indian unit of automotive giant, Ford has launched a new marketing campaign titled, `EcoSport Urban Discoveries' in order to promote the company's upcoming compact SUV in the country.
Through the new EcoSport Urban Discoveries campaign, the company is encouraging the customers to upload videos of unfamiliar places of their cities on a dedicated website. The company has said that the 35 users will be selected for the next phase of the campaign based on the creativity and the votes. The campaign will reach out to the prospective customers through internet, television and print media.
Under the second phase, each selected members from the 35 will select two members to form a team of three, which will get keys for the EcoSport so that they can drive to the place of interest in the video in the initial phase. The company is planning to record the driving experience and play it as social media to promote the new vehicle. The leaders in each team will continue to engage the users through an online paltform.
Vinay Piparsania, executive director of Marketing, Sales and Service for Ford India said,"EcoSport Urban Discoveries will give over a hundred customers, the opportunity to drive and experience our exciting Ford EcoSport ahead of its market launch. This campaign will help us go further in engaging with our customers and educating them about our upcoming big product."
