Focusing on Family Planning Aspect Important For Career Aspiring Women

Focusing on Family Planning Aspect Important For Career Aspiring WomenAll the aspiring women of lifelong careers pay attention as some researchers have revealed some astonishing truths that can not only affect your personal lives but can have similar impact over your professional lives too.

Recently, University of NSW PhD candidates Anna Zhu and Catherine Brogan have led a study in which they collected statistical samples of approx 13,000 Australian women and found that there exist a correlation between bigger families and minimum workforce participation by the women.

The results of the study highlighted that women having three or more number of kids can make them suffer long-term career disadvantage or even she can be forced to leave work altogether. And thus, women who aspire to have lifelong careers must initially focus on the family planning aspect i. e. whether she wants children or not and how many kids she and her life partner can afford to have etc.

Also, it was noticed, during the ongoing of the study, that comparative to women with two kids, women with three or more children were 10% points less likely employed.

Regarding the situation, Ms. Zhu said, "This suggests family size has long-term consequences for women as time out of the workforce leads not only to declining or outdated skills but, often, to a loss of confidence".
