Film industry mourns passing away of Nirmal PandeyThe film fertility in the country is mourning the passing away of Nirmal Pandey who died of a heart attack on February 18.

Actor Shah Rukh khan posted on twitter "Will miss Nirmal Pandey. Great talent. May his soul rest in peace. Simple and a nice guy. Wonderfully quirky actor. Wish had worked with him more."

Anupam kher said he was fond of his "casual stance towards life". He said "I'm so shocked and sad at the sudden death of Nirmal Pandey. He was a wonderful actor. I liked his casual stance towards life. "

Nirmal Pandey started as an actor in plays, he was an alumnus of the National School of Drama and he acted in more about 125 plays. He gathered fame when he acted in movies like Shekhar Kapur's "Bandit Queen", Amol Palekar's "Daayra" and Sudhir Mishra's "Is Raat Ki Subah Nahi".

He also acted in "Train To Pakistan" recently. He acted in several TV shows as well like "Hatim" and "Princess Dollie Aur Uska Magic Bag".

Riteish Deshmukh said "we lost a good actor" and Lara Dutta has offered "condolences and prayers to his family".

Pandey's 'Lahore' director by Sanjay Puran Singh released on Friday in which he plays a soft-hearted Pakistani Anwar Sheikh.
