Fast compact flash cards from Extrememory
Berlin - Hardware maker Extrememory is now offering new compact flash storage cards in the 300x speed class. The new cards can read data at up to 52 megabytes per second (MB/s). Writing is performed at up to 24 MB/s. They also support the UDMA protocol that allows for quicker card access by PCs. The Extrememory CF Performance 300x with 8 Gigabytes (GB) of storage space costs just under 40 dollars, while the 16 GB version has a price tag of 70 dollars.
