Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg’s sister signs two-book deal HarperCollins
Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg's sister Randi Zuckerberg has signed a two-book deal with publisher HarperCollins.
The two books that 30-year-old Zuckerberg will write include her memoir "Dot Complicated," and a children's picture book.
The book "Dot Complicated" will explain her six years as marketing director at popular social networking site Facebook and her decision to leave the company to establish an entertainment production studio of her own, Zuckerberg Media.
Sharing the reason behind her decision to write books, Randi said, "I am thrilled to be working with HarperCollins to share some of my own crazy experiences on the front lines of social media, and to inspire people of all ages to embrace technology."
Scheduled to be released on November 5, "Dot Complicated" will blend the writer's personal insights with her professional insights for the digital age.
Apart from her professional insight into the digital age, the book will also contain details of the launch of her company and the balance of career and motherhood.
HarperCollins, which is a subsidiary of News Corp, said that the book would also be released in a digital format that would feature innovative and appealing interactive components.
