Eurostone to work with Diamaz on marketing diamondsEurostone, an Israeli manufacturer, has indicated that it will work with Diamaz, a diamond supplier from Antwerp to jointly market diamonds to vendors in luxury watch making industry and premium jewelry designers across the world.

The companies have decided to offer their products under the Diamaz brand in the global markets. Thierry Silber from Diamaz said that the trade between the two companies has increased significantly during the previous year it was the time for forming a relationship.

Eurostone CEO Pini Netzer, "The agreement with Diamaz is yet another step in Eurostone's efforts to expand its marketing network and to establish a pied-a-terre in the major diamond trading centers worldwide."

Diamond products will be showcased under the Diamaz brand at the upcoming Antwerp Diamond Trade Fair, which will include 75 manufacturers and 500 visitors from 50 countries, including Russia, China, the US, South America and the Middle East.

The organizers of the event said that 80 per cent of all rough diamonds and 50 per cent in value of polished diamonds in the world are still traded in Antwerp. The industry has an average turnover of $350 million every day. However, some have said that the volume of the trade in Antwerp is down and most of the polishing has shifted to India.
