Etios Liva Making Its Way in Indian Market
Renowned Japanese carmaker, Toyota, has launched its first small car, Etios Liva, in India with a reasonable price between Rs 3.99 lakh and Rs 5.99 lakh and also invested Rs. 3,200 crore in Bangalore to establish its second manufacturing facility.
While addressing the reporters, the Managing Director of Toyota Kirloskar Motor, Hiroshi Nakagawa, said that the aesthetic model Liva offers a full range of products including the luxury SUV Prado. Further, he applauded the car and claimed that it is a stylish and dynamic car. Last year, the company had received a huge appreciation for Etios, the sedan version of Liva in India.
"Keeping the target customer in mind a slew of youthful and fun filled activities have been lined up as a part of the marketing campaign. The show stopper is the TV ad campaign, which will feature music composed by the music maestro A R Rahman”, he added.
The Toyota Kirloskar Motor DMD Marketing, Sandeep Singh said that earlier, market has greeted the Etios and claimed to deliver more than 20,000 cars as on date.
In addition to this, the company has also announced that diesel versions of the Etios sedan and Liva hatch will be on sale by the end of 2011, or early 2012 and estimated sales of around 20,000 units of the Liva for this financial year.
