Educomp Solutions Ltd, a globally diversified education solutions provider, has signed an agreement with the Department of State Education Research & Training
(DSERT), Government of Karnataka for implementation of Computer Aided Education (CAE) in 1571 schools in the state.

The order is valued at Rs 109 crore and has to be executed over five years.

Apart from this, Educomp has also signed an agreement with the Government of Chhattisgarh for imparting CAE in 52 hostels.

With these two new orders, the total number of schools in the Educomp ICT portfolio has gone up, to 8912.

According to sources, the latest wins will extend the reach of Educomp's services to about additional 800,000 students, thus taking the total number of students served by Educomp to 5.8 million in India.
