In order to end the increasing health problems, Auckland's Emergency Doctors (ED) recently took a very innovative step. However, the hospital authorities decided to launch to the roadside reforms inside the hospital premises.
According to these innovative policies a new project would be commenced to improve the previous health facilities for the numerous hospitalized patients. Meanwhile, the doctors further explained that the new scheme would certainly put them on board in the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Trust's urgent situation flights.
Today, another pilot program was commenced by Auckland District Health Board officials, and they were not the one who supported the launch as the rescue trust officials too sustained the pioneering scheme.
In the meantime, the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) agenda would be continued for at least 2 years, and doctors would be performing several patient repossession missions.
On the other hand, while sharing his views about healthcare project plans, Dr. Tim Parke, Clinical Director from the Auckland city hospitals’ adult emergency department, said: "It is really about taking the hospital to the roadside. We will be able to administer anesthetic to the patient at the scene and will be able to perform amputations and ultrasound if necessary".
