Does Susan Boyle need a makeover?
New York, Apr 19 : After British singing sensation Susan Boyle won hearts on `Britain's Got talent', people are wondering if she should go in for an image makeover or remain the way she is.
In a recent interview with CNN, Boyle said that she is overwhelmed by her sudden fame.
"I''m gobsmacked, absolutely gobsmacked," The New York Daily News quoted her as saying.
Boyle said that she wouldn''t want the instant fame to change her, despite her appearance has been described as "dowdy" on the show.
"I wouldn''t want to change myself too much because that would really make things a bit false. I want to receive people as the real me, a real person," she said.
The 47-year-old singer touched fame last week after performing the song `I Dreamed a Dream' on the reality show.
And judge Amanda Holden on the show has said that Boyle''s "everywoman" looks and story are part of her appeal and she should resist a Hollywood-style makeover.
"I won''t let Simon Cowell take her to his dentist and I certainly won''t let her near his hairdresser. She needs to stay exactly as she is because that''s the reason we love her. She just looks like anybody who could live on your street," Holden said in an interview with the British Daily Mail.
However, earlier when Good Morning America" host Diane Sawyer asked Boyle if she''d like to change her look, she replied, "I''d like that." (ANI)
