The Indian cinema has left a deep impression at the Dubai International Film Festival, which ends on December 17, 2008.

Film Dilli 6, which is jointly produced by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra Productions and UTV Motion Pictures, was inaugurated.

The film was screened before the stalwarts of entertainment.

Abhishek Bachchan, Sonam Kapoor, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and UTV's Siddharth Roy Kapoor were present at the festival.

Delhi 6, which stars Abhishek Bachchan , Sonam Kapoor, Om Puri, Atul Kulkarni, and Divya Dutta, is based on Mehra’s growing up years in Chandni Chowk area of Old Delhi.

The film will be Mehra’s third directorial venture after the immensely successful Rang De Basanti.
