Dhoni Out Of ‘IPL’ For 10 Days Owing To Elbow InjuryChennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni will not be able to play the next four Indian Premier League (IPL) matches after being ruled out of action for ten days because of an injury on his right elbow sustained during the game against Kolkata Knight Riders on Tuesday night

Mahendra, who was hit by a rising delivery from fast bowler Shane Bond, had an X-ray at a private nursing home after the game.

Super Kings representative, Russel Radhakrishnan said, "The nature of the injury is such that he will have to stay off the field for 10 days."

The Super Kings are set to take on Delhi Daredevils Friday, Kings XI Punjab Sunday, Bangalore Royal Challengers March 23 and Mumbai Indians March 25.

Regardless of the injury, MS Dhoni played a captain's knock of 33-ball 66 to save his group from a position of fret to bag the man of the match honor.

Dhoni put on 109 for an unfinished fourth-wicket stand together with S. Badrinath to help his team attain 164/3.

SRK's team (KKR) lost the match by 44 runs after being bundled out for 109 in 19.2 overs. (With Input from Agencies)
