London, December 31 : Bookies reckon that David Beckham has a great chance of getting a knighthood in the next 12 months.

They suggest the 37-year-old England legend has 8-1 odds of landing the gong after missing out in this week's honours list, the Daily Star reported.

Bookmakers Coral also offer 6-1 odds that Princess Kate gives birth to twins, with royal triplets priced at 125-1.

But bookies have predicted 100-1 odds for Prince Harry popping the question to Kate's sister, Pippa Middleton.

Other odds being offered include an 8-1 shot that at least one member of One Direction leaving the boy band during 2013.

And 1D's Harry Styles is 12-1 to get engaged to country singer, Taylor Swift and 33-1 for the pair to marry.

Telly favourites Ant and Dec are 16-1 to split, and Sir Bruce Forsyth is 8-13 to keep hosting Strictly Come Dancing.

And X Factor reject Rylan Clark is 5-1 to bag his own TV show. (ANI)
