The photographs, taken during the ex-model's romance with philosopher Raphael Enthoven, had been entrusted with Enthoven''s brother, the owner of the apartment, to keep them at bay from any possible embarrassment to the First Lady and her President hubby Nicolas Sarkozy, as per reports.

Officials were allegedly looking at the probability if the robbers intentionally raided the Left Bank pad on April 26 knowing about the nature of the snaps.

"The thieves appeared to know exactly what they were looking for - taking highly intimate prints, a camera full of further images, videos, and numerous computer files," the Daily Express quoted a source as telling London''s Evening Standard.

"They broke into Mr Enthoven''s flat in the sixth arrondissement (district) on Sunday night, forcing open a window in the sitting room. Nobody was at home at the time, and nothing else was taken," the source added. (ANI)
