Intraday Buy Call For Bharti Airtel

Bharti AirtelStock market analysts have maintained 'buy' rating on Bharti Airtel with an intraday target of Rs 366.

According to them, interested traders can purchase the stock between Rs 358-360 with a strict stop loss of Rs 350. If the stock market remains positive, the stock pricing becomes more attractive, and reach above Rs 372.

Shares of the company, on Wednesday (Oct 07), closed at Rs 358.35 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). Current EPS & P/E ratio stood at 22.08 and 15.72 respectively. The share price has seen a 52-week high of Rs 495 and a low of Rs 242 on BSE.

The alliance will use Cisco's Internet Protocol (IP) technologies and expertise to create and sell a set of unique products and services, including managed data services, hosted unified communications, connected branch services and Cisco TelePresence, Bharti said Tuesday.

Bharti-MTN deal terminated New Delhi, Sep 30 : India's telecom major Bharti Airtel and South Africa's MTN Wednesday terminated their talks for a proposed $24-billion equity swap-cum-strategic alliance that could have potentially created the world's third largest mobile phone enterprise.

According to Bharti, the proposed deal was called off after the South African authorities declined to accept certain regulatory constraints on the part of both sides.

The new entity will have a combined base of 207 million subscribers and revenues of some $20 billion.

The telecom major has said that the effort by the company to provide mobile internet at cheaper rates to its prepaid users would allow them to have control over their internet usage.

Bharti Airtel claimed that Airtel is the first company to launch mobile internet recharge based on the ‘electronic recharge’ platform.

Commenting on the launch of the new service, Atul Bindal (President, Mobile Services, Bharti Airtel) said: “There is tremendous potential for voice enabled m-Commerce services in India and we are giving a huge thrust in this area.”

The new service will help Airtel subscribers to pay mobile and fixed-line bills, recharge pre-paid and digitalTV accounts, recharge Delhi-Gurgaon expressway toll tags, pay insurance premiums, buy gifts and tickets using their mobile phones.
