Celebs doling out money to make Obama’s inauguration big event

US White HouseWashington, Dec 31 : Hollywood celebrities are contributing big money to the Presidential Committee in a bid to make Barack Obama's inaugural ceremony a big event.

Celebrities like Halle Berry, Jamie Foxx, Steven and Kate Spielberg, Berry Gordy, Tom Hanks, Jeffrey and Marilyn Katzenberg, Sharon Stone and Robert and Leslie Zemeckis have big-heartedly donated 50,000 dollars each for the event.

Other celebrities also donated a decent amount for the ceremony, like Magic Johnson doled out 25,000 dollars, and comedian Christopher Guest also contributed 25,000 dollars, reports Politico.

The celebrities paid no more than 50000 dollars, as it was against the regulation to exceed that limit.

The ceremony will be held on January 20, and will witness a huge celebrity attendance. (ANI)
