C&C Constructions Pockets Rs 781 Cr Order; Stock Up 9.6%
Gurgaon-based infrastructure development company C&C Constructions Ltd has received an order worth Rs 781 crore for a dedicated freight corridor from New Karwadiya to New Ganj Khwaja in Bihar.
This work is of 105 kilometers on the Mughal-Sone section of the Eastern Corridor, which has to be finished by the next 36 months.
The project will be carried out in company with its joint venture partner M/s BSCPL Infrastructure Ltd.
M/s BSCPL Infrastructure Ltd is equal partner in this contract.
Moreover, the company along with BSCPL Infrastructure, during the last month, has pocketed the prestigious order to build the Parliament and a new Indian Chancery in Kabul, Afghanistan.
The order, which is valued at Rs 6.35 billion, has been awarded by the Central Public Works Department, Government of India.
In this fiscal year, the company has so far received orders worth Rs 20.28 billion out of which Rs 16.23 billion is with its JV partner, and Rs 3.85 billion in its own name.
With this, the company’s own share of the order book now stands at Rs 23.81 billion as on date.
At 2:25 p.m., the shares of the company gained 9.6% to trade at Rs 122 on BSE. The share price has seen a 52-week high of Rs 317.95 and a low of Rs 106.80 on BSE.
