For the first time in India 2.16 lakh CAT aspirants appeared for Online CAT 2009 exam and shall be getting the results a little early this time.

However, according to an official site for CAT 2010, results shall be declared in Feb 2010 only.

Earlier the CAT 2010 results were scheduled by Jan 22, 2010 which further got delayed by Feb 15. The delay in announcing the result has been attributed to little delay in the exam season entry.

This is the third time when IIMs have changed the dates for announcing IIM results for next batch.

The CAT 2010 result shall be displaying the candidates selected for next level up, for interviews and group discussions. The selected candidates shall also get personal communications for interviews and group discussion from IIMs for which they have been selected.

Further, a step ahead, the interested students and other aspirants can visit the official web site of CAT 2009 catiim. com to check for the announcement of results. At present the site is displaying the CAT 2009 results deferred to end of February 2010.
