SAILSAIL is looking good for intraday trading in today’s session. It has performed brilliantly on Monday (24 Dec), and marked its closure at Rs 268.45, up 4.20%.

Today (26 Dec), it will surely cross Rs 279. If the stock price hits this target, the next target for the day will be above Rs 286.

Interested investors can purchase this stock between Rs 265-267 with a strict stop loss of Rs 268.

The total volume of the shares traded on Dec 24 stood at 2,303,656. It is looking very strong as the stock markets have made their closure on a cheerful note.

On Bombay Stock Exchange, the stock has touched 52-week high of Rs 292.5 and the low of Rs 82.15. The intraday outlook for the stock is good. The stock is good for quick gains.

Ramvilas Paswan, union minister of chemicals & fertilizers and steel, has inaugurated SAIL’s Kulti unit (on 25 Dec) that was shut down in 2003.   
    
At the inauguration of IISCO Steel Plant last year, Mr. Paswan had resolved to reopen the Kulti Unit within a year.
    
The company also earmarked investment of over Rs 200 billion in West Bengal. The Kulti shall become operational in about 4 months. Operation of Kulti will start with production of both non-ferrous and ferrous foundry along with support facilities in stages.

Other companies from the sector which are looking good include Tata Steel, JSW Steel and Essar Steel.
