Buy Kingfisher Airlines - Nirmal Bang
Nirmal Bang has maintained its ‘Buy’ rating on Kingfisher Airlines Limited to achieve a target of Rs 47.50 within 1-5 days.
Traders can buy the stock on dips with a stop loss of Rs 34.90.
Shares of the company, on Monday (April 20), closed at Rs 38.80 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). The share price has seen a 52-week high of Rs 158.50 and a low of Rs 22 on BSE.
Air France-KLM is making discussions with Kingfisher and Jet Airways in order to serve up Indian secondary markets.
It is discovered that KLM wants to serve around 10 destinations in the secondary market.
Kingfisher Airlines on March 31 announced that it has commenced flights on five new destinations, comprising two from Mumbai, as a part of its summer plan.
The summer timetable of the airlines started from March 29.
The new segments announced by the airline include Mumbai-Vadodara, Mumbai-Thiruvanthapuram, Hyderabad-Bhubaneshwar, Hyderabad-Aurangabad and Bangalore-Kozhikode.
In Feb 2009, Kingfisher Airlines rearranged its organization; it promoted 21 functionaries as vice president, assistant vice-president, general manager and sales head.
KFA alos said that out of these 21 functionaries given higher ranks, nine have been made VPs, six functionaries have been given AVP rank and three as GM.
It is thought that the promotions have been called for consequent to Kingfisher Airlines and Deccan Aviation amalgamation, only one person from previous Deccan entered in the list.
Kingfisher Airlines and its low-priced Kingfisher Red jointly stole the show from Jet Airways-JetLite, by having the maximum number of riders in January 2009, although the total passenger traffic registered a minor increase since December.
The total number of passengers carried by domestic carriers rose from 3.323 million in December to 3.326 million last month.
Vijay Mallya-promoted Kingfisher Airlines, in Feb 2009, said that it is targeting an equity infusion of around Rs 20 billion through strategic and financial investors and may even monetize aircraft order book over time.
