Much Awaited IPTV Launched By BSNL State-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL), on Wednesday, announced the nation-wide launch of Interactive Personalized Television & Video Services (IPTV) for its customers.

Internet Protocol Tele Vision (IPTV) is a new revolution in the television history where service providers can utilize existing copper cable network to deliver high quality videos and sound using Internet Protocol.

With this launch, the company has enabled its customers to watch programmes according to their convenience from more than 140 TV channels.

JISL Wins Order Worth Rs 27 Crore From EuropeCountry’s largest processor of fruits and vegetables, Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd (JISL) announced that it has won an order worth Rs 270 million (27 crore) to supply dehydrated onions to Europe in the calendar year 2009.

While commenting on this, Mr. Ashok Jain (Vice chairman, Jain JISL) said, "This is the single largest order for our dehydrated onion and vegetables division. We have developed high-solid onion varieties, which are helping Indian farmers to produce more and in turn allowing us to give what the International market expects."

Motorola Taken To Court Over Jobs By RIMRecently, RIM informed in a lawsuit that Motorola is making an adverse effort from keeping the BlackBerry maker from hiring the fired or soon-to-be fired Motorola employees.  

Motorola has informed that there would be more than 3,000 job cuts. However, it has been learnt that due to the nondisclosure agreements, those employees may have a tough time getting a new job.
