London - A 21-year-old man died when trying to separate two German shepherd dogs which were fighting, police in Blackpool said Saturday.

They said the dogs turned on the man, biting him in the upper part of his body and he struck his head when falling to the ground, suffering fatal head wounds. The two dogs were later put to sleep. (dpa)
