Borrowing figures worst for British government
Britain is facing a threatening risk of a worst Government deficit crisis this time. The government has borrowed another £4.3billion last month. Sources said that the circumstances are now even worse than the case of Greece or Spain.
This was all against the expectation of the economists for a repayment of £2.8billion last month. Now the Government has to reassure other countries that there will be no such crisis. The borrowing figures on record for The British government have posted to its worst in January.
Earlier there was a forecast in a Reuter's poll by City analysts who had anticipated a repayment of £2.8billion. Office for National Statistics (ONS) said public sector net borrowing was £4.34billion compared with a repayment of £5.27billonn a year earlier. But this year Britain was too far away from the usual surplus that should be happened in a January, According to the officials the situation is such, due to a sharp rise in government spending. There is a huge drop in tax receipts from businesses hit by the deepest recession as well.
