Bomb blast rocks Iraqi press syndicate in Baghdad
Baghdad - The chief of the Iraqi press syndicate was wounded in a blast that ripped through the syndicate headquarters earlier on Saturday.
The bomb, planted at the entrance of the press syndicate in Baghdad's northern area of al-Waziriya detonated during a syndicate board meeting, a source from the syndicate told Voices of Iraq news agency.
A number of civilians were also slightly wounded.
The explosion caused damage to seven cars belonging to syndicate employees, according to the source. (dpa)
