BlackBerry sales drop in India

BlackBerry sales drop in India After the expiry of the deadline on the 31st of August, the government's decision to permit access to Blackberry's encoded electronic message and other texting facilities is still ambiguous and this vagueness has led to a fall in the trade of the smartphone's in the India.

Customers are not willing to buy Blackberry since this brand is celebrated for its services and features and if those very services are not accessible then they do not see any point in paying so much money in purchasing it.

Government's warning to stop the service provided by any Blackberry smartphone in case the security organizations are not able find their way into them by the 31st of August has resulted in reduction of the trade of these phones by almost 50 %.

The sale of approximately 10 phones of the brand per week has now come down to hardly 3 or 4 in a week. Government has also informed that phones' manufacturer, Research In Motion which is based in Canada, that an intervention server must be installed with the Indian Service Provider which has a conclusive and accurate tracing system.
