BJP hires 2 ad firms for media campaign
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would leave no stone unturned to attract voters in the forthcoming parliament elections. The party hired two reputed advertising agencies Frank Simoes-Tag and Utopia to convey party's policies to general public through television, mobile, radio FM channels and the print media.
BJP spokesperson Siddharth Nath Singh said, "Frank Simoes-Tag and Utopia have prepared the campaign advertisements for BJP which will be used on television, radio FM channels and the print media from March 16 onwards."
Frank Simoes was also instrumental in "Incredible India" campaign of the Union Ministry of Tourism while Utopia had played a key role in the success of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan in the assembly elections last year.
Taking the advantage of huge penetration of mobiles in the society, the Media Campaign Committee headed by BJP general secretary, Arun Jaitley has decided to use SMS services as its media campaign. The party has already approved 'majboot neta, nirnayak sarkar' as the theme slogan of its campaign targeting PM Manmohan Singh who, according to the party, worked under huge pressure from Nehru-Gandhi family.
The party's spokesperson said, "Unless political parties empathize with the emotions and feelings of the common man, the slogans can prove counter-productive."
