Bhullar clinches Asian Tour

Golfers should yell warnings against stray shots, rules courtGaganjeet Bhullar has won the title of the Asian Tour after scoring five-under 67 in the final round to finish with a total of 22-under 266, which was two better then the second placed young Aussie Adam Blyth at the Indonesia President Invitational, Jakarta on Sunday.

Bhullar has become the eighth Indian golfer to win an Asian Tour after Jeev Milkha Singh, Gaurav Ghei, Jyoti Randhawa, Arjun Atwal, Rahil Gangjee, Shiv and SSP Chowrasia and youngest Indian to win an International tour at the age of just 21 years.

Bhullar, who made debut in Majors last week, said that he has been fortunate to win Asian Tour just after a week of his disappointing finish in the British Open and he felt great. He lost the title in 2007 when Juvic Pagunsan scored a birdie-eagle in the last round to clinch the title.

Rahil Gangjee, another Indian golfer, finished at the 25th spot after birding six of the nine holes for 30 to finish with a total of 67, which was his second best performance of the season.

Amandeep Johl finished at tied 37th spot with a total of eight-under 280 while Anirban Lahiri scored 67 in the final round to share 47th spot with five-under 283.
