‘Beyonce’s Malay gig won’t be stopped if conditions met’

Kuala Lumpur, September 27: Beyonce Knowles will not be stopped from performing in Malaysia if she meets the regulations stipulated, the country’s Information Communication and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim has said.

The R&B lady, known for her sexy attire and seductive dancing, is expected to perform in the country on October 25 as part of her "Beyonce I Am ..." world tour.

The upcoming concert was slammed by conservatives opposing Western influence on their culture and religion, reports The Star Online.

Dr Rais, however, said the gig maybe threatened if the singer did not adhere to the conditions.

He said: “If she deliberately bares her body and violates the conditions imposed by the authorities, then she would be prevented from performing.” (ANI)
