London, Mar 7 : David Beckham has finally sealed his dream move to AC Milan, and the first thing he did to celebrate the event was to call his wife Victoria up and say "Ciao Bella".

As part of the new deal, Goldenballs will stay in Italy until the end of the season, while Victoria will remain in Los Angeles with the couple's three children.

"Victoria was over the moon. She knows how important AC Milan is to him and fully supports his decision. It will be tough with him being apart from the family for periods of time but they are stronger than ever," the Mirror quoted a source as saying.

The insider added: "They are like two teenagers in love who can't wait to see each other whenever they get the chance. Victoria thinks it is like how they were when they first starting dating."

And under a unique "timeshare" agreement, the 33-year-old footballer will stay with the Italian giants until the end of the season, and then will play for LA Galaxy between July and October.

After that Beckham will return to Milan in November for the rest of the following season.

Earlier the former `Spice Girl' wasn't supporting her husband's full-time transfer to Milan as she didn't want to shift base to Italy with her kids, but later the pair talked over the issue and Posh finally gave a nod for the move.

And now Becks' agent Simon Fuller, the man behind the Spice Girls - helped broker a deal which has suited them both.

"The children will stay in LA with Victoria so that their schooling is not disrupted," Fuller said while speaking at the Prince's Trust Ball.

"No one considered the possibility of him playing for both teams before, but because I'm not part of the football industry I can see that more things are possible. I'm not so constrained by what has gone before. Sometimes I'm not even aware of what's gone before.

"I am not just coming in and shaking things up for their own sake. I want to make things better. If people don't like it, that's their problem," Fuller added.

The deal comes after weeks of negotiations between the two clubs, and now Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has said that an official announcement was imminent. (ANI)
