Bajaj Auto to enhance its 3-wheeler production
Country's leading Auto manufacture, Bajaj auto has decided to improve its three-wheeler production by another 50,000 units per month. Earlier the company has also increased its production capacity of two wheelers and now it's the tern of three wheelers. The current three wheeler production capacity of Bajaj is 35,000 units per month.
Bajaj is one of the leading three wheeler maker on India and also holds a reasonable part of the market share. The three-wheeler giant has introduced the two new platforms of three-wheeler passenger vehicles.
These two are named as RE145D and RE445M and both of them are BSIII compliant. The company is also planning to come up with couple of new platforms in the commercial vehicle segment in near future.
Chief Executive Officer, Commercial vehicles, Bajaj Auto, RC Maheshwari has informed that the company has already introduced one platform of three wheelers six months ago. It has been expected to introduce two more platforms to the Indian market by the first quarter of this year.
Moreover, he has also said that the company is trying to improve the production capacity of its Waluj plant from 35,000 to 40,000 vehicles per month shortly.
