Avesthagen, India's leading integrated systems biology platform company, is planning to enter capital markets with an initial public offering (IPO) by June-July period next year.  

A company official revealed that the company wants the market to stabilize and investor confidence to return before entering the market.  

He further stated that the company is looking to raise Rs 700-800 crore through the IPO and pre-offer placements in the first half of 2010 to fund its various expansion programs.

It should be noted that company intends to raise money through IPO last year, but had deferred its plans later due to volatile market conditions.

The raised funds will be utilized to commercialize 40 products which are in various stages of development, apart from expanding its manufacturing base, labs and sales and marketing.
