Average gas price falls three cents from previous week
AAA has said that the average price of a gallon of regular unleaded gas fell about 3 cents to $3.53 from the previous week.
The price of one gallon of gas is about 30 cents lower than a year ago when the price was recorded at $3.80. The price of gas in Mid-Atlantic region was four cents lower than the national average. The national average was recorded two cents lower from the previous week at $3.57 on Friday. The average price of gas in the District of Columbia was $3.73, which is four cents lower than the previous week.
The price was was $3.54, down a penny from a week ago in Maryland and that was two cents lower at Delaware at $3.55 per gallon. The average price for gas in Massachusetts was $3.66 per gallon, according to the weekly survey by AAA, which is one penny higher than the previous week’s average, according to data released by the AAA Southern New England. AAA Southern New England added that the local prices are the same as the previous week.
