Australian stocks lose 2.8 per cent
Sydney - Australian stocks Tuesday succumbed to negative sentiment in Europe and North America and a warning of a steep recession at home.
The ASX 200 lost 112 points, or 2.8 per cent, to 3,476.
A report from independent research firm Access Economics unsettled the market with its predictions of a budget deficit and other gloomy forecasts. (dpa)
