Australia defeats Pakistan by 2 wickets
Australian team has clean sweep Pakistan 5-0 after defeating Pakistan by 2 wickets in the last one day international match of the five ODI matches series at the Western Australia Cricket Association Ground in Perth on Sunday.
Chasing the target of 213 runs, Australian team got a bad start as they lost their three wickets for just 73 runs on the board but Mike Hussey played a brilliant unbeaten inning of 40 runs to sail his team to victory in 49.2 overs.
Earlier in the day, Pakistan team returned to pavilion for 212 runs on the board in 49.3 overs. Umar Akmal was top scorer for Pakistan who scored 67 runs while Fawad Alam contributed 63 runs with the bat.
C McKay was the most successful Australian bowler who took four wickets for just 35 runs in his 9.3 overs. R Harris picked up three wickets while M Johnson chipped in with two wickets.
