Apple may unveil new or updated iPod lines at September 12 event

Apple may unveil new or updated iPod lines at September 12 event According to the latest rumors making rounds about Apple's September 12-scheduled press event, which will likely witness the unveiling of the highly-anticipated iPhone 5, a new line of iPods will probably be announced at the event.

While it was originally being speculated that Apple may also unveil its much-rumored iPad Mini tablet along with the iPhone 5 at the next week event, recent reports now indicate that the smaller tablet will apparently be introduced in October, and that the new iPhone will possibly share the stage with a new iPod line.

Despite the fact that there are hardly any details about the changes which will likely come aboard Apple's new iPod line, industry watchers are of the opinion that two - or may be even three - new or updated iPod lines will be unveiled at the forthcoming event.

Going by the reports, two of the iPod lines which Apple will likely introduce at the event will be available in a single storage capacity; while one will be available in two storage capacities. However, all the three new iPod lines will seemingly come in multiple colors.

Though the actual official announcements about the speculated iPod lines will probably be made by Apple at the event, there are speculations galore that new iPod Nano and iPod Shuffle models will be unveiled --- more so as these devices are already available in multiple colors; and the current Shuffle comes in one storage capacity, while the Nano comes in two capacities!
