Appeal to make hospital staff work
Hospital chiefs have re-released an appeal for 4x4 drivers in order to aid staff bring back to work.
A spokesperson for Worcestershire Acute Hospitals Trust, who is responsible for the smooth running of the Alexandra Hospital, said the response from their staff had proven to be out of the blue at the aim was to celebrate efforts in order to work on extra shifts, on the other hand 4x4 drivers aided in providing services for smooth running of hospitals.
"We are very grateful to a number of volunteer 4x4 drivers who are helping to bring staff in and take them home - but we would welcome more help! If you can’t help today but may be able to help later in the week if required, please call us and leave your contact details," she explained.
The hospital staff is thankful towards the employees for the extra effort laid in order to ensure the fact that the services are continued in the same manner.
Associates especially the nursing staff, who are present for the cover shift are desperately struggling to complete the task at hand at the same time call 01905 760335 and 4x4 transport will be offered whenever needed.
People having outpatient appointments or paused for a planned operation were asked to be present if possibly they can be present at the hospital. The ones who can’t attend should call the healthcare unit on the number of their appointment letter.
A substantial amount of growth in number of patients of diarrhoea and vomiting were seen all over the nation and at the same time people were asked to stay at home, consume fluids and wash hands with sanitizer.
Dr Jonathan Leach, NHS Worcestershire’s medical director and a practising GP, said: "Think of the health service as a tiered system with the biggest tier at the bottom being self care. There are lots of ailments such as coughs and colds that can be treated at home with over the counter remedies from your pharmacist, without the need to seek medical advice.”
