In this the hijackers use sexually explicit messages to friends and followers. Popularly known as phishing scam wave, it hit the micro-blogging website with its lucrative sexually explicit content which lead them to other sites and make them enter their passwords.
The British energy minister Ed Miliband posted on his account that "Oh dear it seems like I've fallen victim to twitter's latest 'phishing' scam,'' which directly gives hints and carries a strong reference to the minister's sex life.
