Amy Winehouse on fast food diet to gain weight

London, Sept 14: It seems that Brit star Amy Winehouse, who has been worrying her friends and folks with her thin frame, has embarked on a weight-gaining spree by going on a fast foot diet.

Reports said that Winehouse has scoffed seven McDonald's in the past one week.

And, her ploy certainly seems to be working as the 24-year-old has already gained a stone.

A source said that Winehouse has visited Mr Jerk - a Soho restaurant three times in the past week.

"Amy came in really good spirits and ordered an extra large portion of brown stew chicken which she polished off in minutes,’ the Mirror quoted the source, as saying.

"She was looking really healthy and it's clear she's putting on weight again," the source said.

A source close to the ‘Rehab star’ said that the singer knows she needs to gain weight.

“Amy is not stupid and knows she needs to put on weight. So she's been doing it the way she likes it with her favourite foods,” the source said.

Her dad Mitch Winehouse is really happy that his daughter has started to look good again.

“She looks stunning again now," he said.

The singer, who said that she cannot resist Caribbean food, is on carb-heavy Caribbean diet that includes yams, dumplings, bananas, jerk chicken and rice and peas.

"If it's West Indian I'll eat it,’ she said. (With Inputs from ANI)
