AMD ATI FirePro 3D V7750You can now use new ATI FirePro V7750 graphics accelerator from AMD to deal with large models and shader-intensive applications to present amazing visual output, if you are graphics pros dealing in engineering, digital content creation and scientific fields.

The Sunnyvale, California based Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD) has brought out its new ATI FirePro 3D V7750 workstation graphics cards that blend a new ATI OpenGL optimized driver with the award-winning ATI FireGL graphics technology. The new ATI FirePro 3D offers a new level of graphics performance and reliability for professional 3D graphics users.

The AMD has stated that perfect for Computer Aided Design (CAD), Digital Content Creation (DCC) and simulation markets, the ATI FirePro 3D workstation graphics cards help enhancing throughput by automatically directing graphics horsepower where it’s needed.

The new ATI FirePro 3D features 1GB of GDDR3 frame-buffer memory, a 30-bit display pipeline and twin DisplayPort connectors, and one dual-link DVI socket, with each DVI output supporting 18-, 24-, and 30-bit digital displays at resolutions up to 2560x1600 and having a dual-link HDCP encoder for playback of copy-protected content. The new ATI FirePro 3D also features full 30-bit display pipeline and support for High Dynamic Range output, with 8-bit, 10-bit and 16-bit-per-RGB color component support. It helps producing over one billion colors for the most vibrant visual fidelity1 versus more traditional 24-bit display pipeline, which produces only 16.7 million colors. It also offers a 320 stream processing units, full Shader Model 4.1 support for vertex and pixel shaders and a unified video decoder for H.264, AVC, VC-1 and MPEG-2 video formats.

Janet Matsuda, senior director, AMD Professional Graphics, said, “With the introduction of the ATI FirePro V7750 graphics accelerator, AMD’s ATI Professional Graphics group is well positioned to increase its presence in the high-end segment of the market, complementing our solid showing in the entry-level and mid-range.”

The new ATI FirePro 3D workstation graphics cards are able to generate a multi-monitor desktop of over 5000 pixels wide, with DisplayPort and Dual Link enabled DVI outputs.

The ATI FirePro 3D graphics come equipped with unique AutoDetect technology that helps automatically configuring the optimized ATI FirePro 3D graphics driver settings for maximum performance under a multitude of workflow demands.

Nick Iwaskow, Manager of Alliances, Dassault Systèmes SolidWorks Corp., said, “SolidWorks users demand products with superior performance, such as the ATI FirePro V7750, to enable real-time rendering but without the traditional hang-ups. The top-to-bottom feature set and performance of the new ATI FirePro product family can give our SolidWorks users the efficiency to boost productivity and creativity.”

The new ATI FirePro 3D workstation graphics cards are available with HP workstations or for other existing and future systems. Currently, the new ATI FirePro 3D workstation graphics cards are available for Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Digital Content Creation (DCC) applications. AMD is providing direct customer access to a committed professional class technical support team.
