Air France will increase flights to India

Air France would expand its network by starting new services to major Air France will increase flights to IndiaIndian cities. The air line has also decided to take care of Indian flavours in its flights. It would provide vegetarian food and Indian newspapers and films on board. 

Air France intends to become a top class air service provider by developing strategic zones to get more passengers. The company had started its services from Bangalore in 2005 and from Chennai in 2006. It is now interested to start services from Kolkata, Ahmedabad and Pune.

Air France is using Charles de Gaulle Airport for transmitting 80 percent of Indian load. Senior Vice-President of International and the Netherlands Division, Jean-Louis Pinson said that there is a good scope for aviation industry in India. He said that the airline would teach its crew about Indian regional films, gestures and Indian culture. The air line would also recruit Hindi and Tamil speaking crew within a short time. 

It is also planning to start ‘five a weak’services from Chennai and expand it to daily service afterward. The airline would also tie up with some domestic air carriers to expand its network in India. The company has a permit to operate 35 flights in a week but it is using 29 flights as of now.
