NATO has informed that seven militants were killed in an attempted attack on the Bagram air base of Afghanistan. Five NATO troops were badly injured during the firing exchanges and it is still going on. Taliban has claimed the responsibility for this attack. A spokesman of Taliban Zabaiullah Mujahid has said that 20 suicide attackers involved in this attack.

A suicide bomber had attacked a NATO convoy in Kabul and killed 18 people including five NATO soldiers. Bagram is the largest military base in Afghanistan basically for US troops. The attack began early on Wednesday with grenades, small arms and rockets. This military air base is 50 kilometers north of the Afghanistan capital Kabul.

In the attack at Kabul on Tuesday five military vehicles were destroyed with at least a dozen civilian's vehicles including a bus. Actually the civilians of Afghanistan are suffering heavily from the war between the Taliban and NATO. US President Barack Obama need to find out the solution very soon but it is not going to be an easy call.
