According to findings, Chinese people were reported to be regular watchers of online videos taking the figure up to 240 million. The figures which were brought forward from the state-owned China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC) state that online video watching accounts for 63% of the 380 million internet users across China.

It has risen significantly from 222 million to a whopping 240 million and by the year end it is supposed to grow even further.

The CNNIC study further listed out that the 48% of those reviewed said they watched online video every day, with movies and TV shows the most popular content to watch taking the toll to such a remarkable level.

However this figure would have had further increased, hadn't the issue with Google cropped up.
