World's leading video sharing site YouTube has recorded two billion views daily. It is the subsidiary of the search engine giant Google. The Google officials have informed that the number of users is going almost the double of the viewers who tune in to the three major prime time TV stations combined.

This has been declared at the occasion of the competition of five years for the site. The beta version of YouTube was launched five years back. The co-founder Mr. Chad Hurley has said that there has been a tremendous growth in web video marketing and now You Tube has become the one and only leader in the market.

YouTube is providing the facility to share personal videos as well as to find and share global videos. The co-founder also added that the two billion hits per day is a milestone but we have much further to go. But the only issue is on an average; people are spending only 15 minutes on the site per day which is very less as compared to the spending of five hours on watching TV.
