Yemeni legislator killed in ambush in restive Saada province
Sana'a, Yemen - Unknown gunmen ambushed and killed Yemeni member of parliament Saleh al-Hindi in the restive northern province of Saada on Friday, sources said.
The attackers opened fire on al-Hindi's vehicle in the mountainous area of Suhar near the border with Saudi Arabia, killing him, his son and a bodyguard, the source added.
Six other bodyguards were injured in the attack.
It was not immediately clear who was behind the attack, but tribal sources said it may have been a revenge act. (dpa)
