Mumbai: The presence of Bollywood Badshah, Shah Rukh Khan at cricket matches in recent times has appealed lots of attention. But the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has not taken it too gently.

SRK attended the final of the T20 World Championship, and also went on the playing field to cheer up Indian cricketers.

The Bollywood’s most appealing star also attended the one-off T20 match between India and Australia at the Cricket Club of India (CCI).

Some of the BCCI functionaries feel sad, and stated that Shah Rukh is using this platform for promoting his newest movie, Om Shanti Om.

An angry BCCI functionary said, “This is a much bigger platform than being on a private television station. A match is watched by the entire country, there is no better way to create recall value. We have to be understand that.”

Especially King Khan’s interview to the host broadcaster in the 5th and final ODI in Jaipur has brocaded heckles. During his interview King Khan talked about Om Shanti Om.

Niranjan Shah, board secretary declined to comment on the matter when TOI contacted him.
