Verizon’s 4G LTE network faces three outages this monthThe new 4G LTE network of Verizon Wireless, which is known for its faster speeds and reliability, has faced thee outages within the month.

According to the carrier, the reason for outages has been ‘growing pains’.

Verizon said in a statement on it website that its 4G LTE network is the most advanced and largest4GLTE wireless network in the world and is available in as many as 190 US markets. The network connects more than 200 million people with the speed 4G network.

"The recent issues that affected our customers' 4G LTE service were unforeseen despite careful, diligent planning, deployment and ongoing upgrade programs,” it said.

The carrier said that certain times it moves customers to the 3G Network to ensure connectivity but it was not able to do that on Wednesday on time. It said that the issues affected connectivity to the 4G LTE Network and data service. The carrier clarified that each of the outage was different on technical grounds.

Verizon is the nation's largest wireless carrier with about 90 million customers. Even after taking the recent outages into account, the company’s network ahs been in service about 99% of the time this year.
