Usha Communications pockets USD 2 million contract from Nepal Telecom
Usha Communications, a part of the Usha Martin Group, has bagged a US$ 2 million contract from Nepal Telecom (Nepal Doorsanchar Company Limited), to provide convergent solution for its prepaid and postpaid internet subscribers.
Under the multi-year contract, Usha Communications will manage professional services including data migration, implementation, and integration of multiple third party systems. Further it will also provide software licenses for Nepal Telecom.
The various technologies that Nepal Telecom has as its line of businesses are wireline, GSM, CDMA, internet dial up, and ADSL.
UK-headquartered UshaComm is a $10 million company with the Jhawar family as majority stakeholders. The company delivers Billing and Customer Care Software Solutions to fixed, mobile, cable and satellite, and IP/ Broadband communications providers.
